Objectives
Serve. Respect. Honor.
Above all, we strive to respectfully honor all military veterans who served our country, in an effort to boost morale, confidence, and ensure they are properly recognized as military service veterans in accordance with the specific requirements as defined by Veterans Affairs. TRM hosts events such as annual gatherings which allow veterans to connect with each other, share their stories, and recognize them for the great sacrifices they have made to their country.
Military Veteran Advocacy and Connections
We seek to assess, advocate, assist and refer veterans to available public and private resources to aid veterans and their families in improving their ability to improve their quality of life. As an extension to our advocacy, we are building a social network to increase involvement within the veteran community, recognize veteran owned businesses, and local communities to reduce veteran isolation, and commodore an Esprit De Corp.
Identifying Resources
We work to identify and partner with veteran organizations in Hunt County, TX, surrounding areas, and across the country to share resources required to increase the military veteran’s quality of life. As a part of our expanded mission statement, we include families and first responders in this community. We connect with both local and state resources equipped to provide counsel, assisting veterans who may be at risk for becoming homeless, and alleviate poverty due to underemployment or unemployment.
Direct Veteran Engagement
We aim to provide direct assistance to veterans and their families in an effort to ease the continued battle on the home front through mental wellness initiatives. We feel every veteran who chooses to advocate on behalf of their own well-being should be met with compassion, encouragement, and love. TRM strives to turn every dollar as quickly as possible. We cut through the red tape, reduce wait times, and offer proven alternative assistance to traditional services. TRM has developed programs to work directly with organizations who can assist with these needs. These partnerships play a vital role carrying out our mission.
Accountability
We ensure there is a level of accountability, seeking guidance, and mentorship from other nonprofit leaders who offer assistance to veterans. We desire all monetary donations are used to the best of our ability in providing help to the community. Every U.S. Military veteran must show they have served in the military, and be willing to take steps which lead to an improved quality of life.
