Deborah Guthrie

Director of Financial Services/Treasurer Since 2021

About Me

Deborah Guthrie grew up an Air Force brat as her father was a career officer flying F-4s, then SAC refuelers, then teaching. Her mother is also a veteran who served in the military. Looking back, she wished she had started her adult life with military service but she wanted to experience college instead. She graduated with honors, a Bachelor of Science degree, then began her career with the Defense Investigative Service, a civilian branch of the Department of Defense, conducting security clearance investigations.

She left that career after 14 years to begin her stay-at-home-mom career. Over the years she ventured into various volunteer roles with Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, church/school/civic organizations and part time jobs ranging from summer library associate, substitute teacher, and retail associate. Since January 2021 she has been involved with Twin Rotors Mission® as a board member and treasurer. She has been married for 30 years, has 2 grown daughters and 2 needy cats.
